Wonderful West Hollywood
- Stay: I can’t say enough great things about LeParc at Melrose. The location is fabulous, the rooms are amazing (we had a suite with a separate living room, fireplace, kitchenette, large bathroom with vanity area, and a balcony) they have a great restaurant and lounge onsite (with a daily social hour with a selection of complimentary beverages), a rooftop deck with heated pool, a fitness center, and are dog friendly. I absolutely loved the retro inspired decor. We even had a record player in our suite and could pick out records to play in the lobby. This hotel has a reputation for being a favorite among celebrities and I felt creative just staying there. One other shout out is that their bath products are incredible and smell fantastic (Malin + Goetz products). I would travel to West Hollywood again specifically to stay there. Loved it!
- Dine: In addition to dining at the hotel, there are some great options within walking distance. DiDi was phenomenal and about two blocks away from the hotel. The menu is upscale, fusion Vietnamese food and every dish was delectable. I ordered the Nguyen in Rome cocktail and it is easily one of the top three adult beverages I’ve ever enjoyed.
- Dine: Another good option within walking distance is Urth Caffe. They have coffee, tea, baked goods, and offer breakfast and lunch/dinner items, We had both a late night dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both.
